I am a nature and wildlife photographer and a field ecologist with a B.S. and M.S. in Earth Systems from Stanford University. During my time spent studying environmental science and working as a conservation technician with the Stanford Conservation Program, I developed an intense fondness for animals of every variety—from herons to beetles to sea stars.

My mission as a wildlife photographer is to share the charm and wonder of Earth’s unique organisms and ecosystems in the hope that I might inspire others to appreciate, respect, and protect them.

Additionally, I am deeply passionate about lessening the negative impacts of human infrastructure on wildlife and aim to bring attention to issues such as habitat fragmentation, roadkill, and window collisions by directly showcasing the animals affected in projects such as my photo book, Salvation.

If you are interested in hiring me for a project, please contact me via the email listed on this page. I am particularly open to environmental journalism, event photography, and portraits, but I am flexible to discuss whatever you have in mind!
